At Sophisticated Fitness, Sophie understands that it can be difficult finding the motivation to exercise by yourself, having a Personal Trainer will make your exercise regime fun and friendly. Sophie is dedicated to providing a wide range of Personal Trainer services, keeping you active and interested. Being trained in Boxercise, Kick Boxercise, Spinning and Aqua-Aerobics in addition to being a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Sophie has much to offer for men and women of all ages.

Each training programme is specific to the client and their needs, from weight loss and improved fitness to muscle gain and athletic fitness. The initial step is to have a FREE initial consultation so that Sophie can find out about your aims as well as being able to show you how the programme would work.

As part of your training programme, Sophie also provides measurements, body fat percentages and fitness testing to help you see the results of your hard work. You can also be given an additional programme to work towards outside of your sessions to keep you motivated.

In addition to the activities mentioned above, in working with a Personal Trainer you will receive fitness, body weight and resistance training. For Spinning and Aqua-Aerobics, clients require their own Spinning bike or swimming pool. After the initial consultation, training sessions can be performed at home, work or in any convenient location that suits you, allowing you to have complete freedom about when and where you train.

Nutritional Advice

Whether you are aiming to lose weight, tone up or simply get fitter, nutrition is just as important as exercise. Without the correct nutrients, your body cannot recover as easily and performance will decrease.

Where physical training is concerned, the body requires different levels of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Sophie can help you create a Nutritional Plan, tailored to your needs that will coincide with your exercise plan, improving your health as well as fitness.

Nutrition is about having a balanced diet as well as controlling your fluid intake. Sophie will explain what is required before training begins and provide you with a food diary analysis throughout your training.

Massage Therapy

As a qualified Masseuse, Sophie can help relax your muscles and release tension after your Personal Training session or simply be your point of call when you require a sports or relaxation massage before, during or after athletic activities. Please note that Massage Therapy will need to be booked in advance.

Having a massage before physical exertion prepares the muscles, reducing any swelling or tension as well as promoting flexibility to help prevent injury. Whereas massaging the muscles afterwards helps aid the recovery process by improving blood circulation, relieving pain and muscle tension. Each massage is specific to the client and their needs, which are dependant on the type of physical activities undertaken.
